Five Dog Night Flight!

Carrying on our Amelia Air tradition of daylight savings flights, our volunteer pilot Malvina flew five dogs to safety in the dark just as our days grew shorter. This particular mission confirms the old saying that rescue never sleeps!

The five medium and large pups from a rural Kentucky shelter were driven as part a ground transport for the first leg of their trip to New Garden, PA. Meeting the pilot and plane at the N57 airport, pups were crated and loaded into Malvina’s plane for the short flight to Atlantic City, NJ.

A clear night flight with starlight filling the sky, the five shelter pups arrived around 9:00pm to the safe and caring arms of Atlantic County Humane Society.

Thank you, Malvina, for your dedication to our mission, and to our adorable pawsengers: welcome to New Jersey for the next love-filled chapter of your lives! Be sure to check out our super quick recap video below!
