Adi rescues 8 Chi Chis!

January 29th was Adi’s first rescue flight in 2022, starting off the new year on the right foot!

After a loving home in Fresno, CA couldn’t care for them anymore, 8 Chihuahua mixes needed a flight to Davis, CA to their new foster homes. The original owners were dedicated to finding a trustworthy rescue who could help them rehome their beloved pups. Thankfully, the team at Davis Animal Rescue was able to respond quickly and work together with the Amelia Air crew to get the eight dogs safely to northern California.

When Adi landed safely in Chandler Executive airport in Fresno and met the eight Chihuahuas for the first time, it was clear that they were well fed and loved. Six of the Chihuahua/Corgi/Terrier mixes were larger males weighing 15-20 lbs each. The two others were smaller 10 lbs females.

All eight of them were friendly, happy and well mannered pups, but also slightly anxious for their first plane ride! The flight back north was smooth, and Adi landed back in Vacaville, CA just in time for the golden hour and sunset photoshoot with her adorable passengers.

The precious cargo was transferred to the hands of Kay, the coordinator at Davis Animal Rescue, who dropped them off at their new loving homes after a long day of travel.
